City staff said they have coordinated the easement to avoid conflicts with planned sidewalks and future public improvements.
The council approved the authorization by unanimous voice vote. City staff described the action as administrative and without negative impacts to the city's interests, and they said the easement avoids a multi-month delay for the charter school's power connection.
The easement resolution was presented and approved in a single motion with no amendments. If recorded, the work will proceed under standard coordination between the developer, Rocky Mountain Power and city public-works staff.
The council did not provide a roll-call tally; the motion passed by unanimous voice vote.
