The board also approved a walk‑on resolution presented by the superintendent recommending that "Dr. John Christie be granted tenure in his current position of assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction." The motion was made, seconded and passed by voice vote; the board chair congratulated Dr. Christie.
Later in the meeting the board approved the consent agenda, which included standard business items and personnel actions (resignations, leaves, appointments, extracurriculars and tenure appointments listed in the meeting packet). The consent agenda was adopted by voice vote.
Additional routine motions included committee reports and adjournment approved by voice vote.
