Planning commission approves withdrawal of two zoning requests to allow applicants more review time

Both withdrawal requests were presented by planning staff. For Z2024-061 the applicant asked to withdraw to revise a concept plan to better conform with the Unified Development Code and the comprehensive plan. For Z2025-001 the applicant said it wanted additional time to work through staff comments and requested a working session with the commission.
Planning staff asked the commission to approve each withdrawal. A motion to approve the withdrawal of Z2024-061 was made and seconded; the commission approved it by a 7–0 vote. A motion to approve the withdrawal of Z2025-001 was similarly seconded and approved 7–0.
The withdrawals remove the items from the commission's current agenda. Staff indicated applicants intend to return after revising materials; no return dates were specified in the meeting record.
