Council approves $300,000 supplemental contract for Kokomo Parkway as grading, utilities proceed

The Toquerville City Council on Feb. 5 approved a supplemental agreement with Stanley Consultants for additional city engineering services on the Kokomo Parkway project, authorizing up to roughly $300,000 in additional consultant work and extending consultant services through November 2025.

The contract extension is intended to cover consultant time as the project moves through grading, utility tie‑ins and construction‑related change orders. Council members discussed ongoing construction activity at Anderson Junction and Boulder Ridge — including grading permits, a future traffic signal at the Sapp Brothers site and power relocation work by Rocky Mountain Power — and staff said consultant oversight remains necessary while those elements move forward.
