The Board of Adjustment Panel A on Feb. 18 found that a pending variance application (BDA245011) by Tracy Jordan was no longer a live request after staff reported a building permit had been issued for roof modifications.
Board Administrator Kamika Miller Hoskins read the permit number into the record — permit 2501311131 — and told the board that the approved modifications negated the need for Board action. The chair said the matter should be denied without prejudice so it would not remain in abeyance.
Kathleen Davis moved to deny the variance without prejudice, citing staff’s report; the motion was seconded and passed on a unanimous 5-0 vote. The board secretary said a decision letter will be mailed and thanked the parties for working with city staff.
Because the modification was approved administratively, the board did not take substantive action on building-height relief.
