Dallas board grants special exception for fence at 4637 Meadowood Road

The Dallas Board of Adjustment Panel A on Feb. 18 unanimously granted a special exception for a fence at 4637 Meadowood Road, approving the application of Rob Baldwin.
The board voted 5-0 to grant the request after finding the application satisfied requirements of the Dallas Development Code and was consistent with the general purpose and intent of the code. The board imposed a condition that the fence comply with the pipe and fence location requirements illustrated in the most recent version of the submitted plans.
At the hearing Chairman Dave Newman noted that decisions are made on each case’s individual merits. Board member Michael Hopkiewicz moved to grant the application and the motion was seconded by Kathleen Davis. The board secretary recorded a 5-0 vote in favor.
A decision letter will be mailed to the applicant by the board administrator within two days and will become part of the public record.
