The Mid Valley School District Board of Directors on Feb. 12, 2025, approved a series of routine personnel, financial and operational items, including adoption of policy revisions, acceptance of an independent auditor's report with no findings, and a three-year extension of the district's student-transportation agreement contingent on an executed addendum.
The board accepted the independent auditor's report for the year ended June 30, 2024, as submitted by Brian T. Kelly, CPA. Board members recorded no auditor findings during the presentation and then voted to accept the report.
The approvals on the consent agenda included the minutes of the Jan. 15, 2025, meeting; resignation and personnel actions; volunteers and student-teacher placements; updates to the 2024-25 school calendar; acceptance of the NAIU general operating budget for July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026 (a $0 change from the prior year); and routine finance items such as the list of bills payable, treasurer's reports, activity-fund reports, cafeteria reports and the list of checks received.
