The Charlton Board of Selectmen voted unanimously on Dec. 10, 2024, to approve the town’s 2025 license renewals following inspections by the building, fire and police departments.

Town staff presented a list of licenses recommended for renewal and noted that Treehouse requested extended hours to 11 p.m. on regular nights and until 1 a.m. on New Year’s Eve; the request falls within the hours allowed by local rules. The board approved the renewals en masse, pending receipt of any outstanding paperwork and fees.

The board made the motion to approve the renewals by a single, combined vote to avoid individually processing dozens of routine renewals. No objections were recorded. The approvals are subject to submission of all required documentation and fees by licensees.
