Policy committee forwards proposed changes on leadership resignations, committee chair replacement and student representative rules

The Rochester City School Board Policy Committee voted Feb. 4 to forward proposed revisions on leadership resignations and committee-chair vacancies, and to align board bylaws with new state rules establishing a student representative.

The committee, chaired by Commissioner Griffin, discussed proposed edits to Policy 2300 that would make the process for a board president’s resignation and follow-up actions clearer.
