Skagit County commissioners approve consent agenda including funding and service contracts

The Skagit County Board of County Commissioners voted Feb. 3 to approve the consent agenda items 1 through 32, including personal-service agreements, vendor contracts and ratifications.
A commissioner moved to approve the full consent agenda and another commissioner seconded the motion. "All in favor, say aye," the chair said; commissioners answered "Aye" and the motion passed with no recorded opposition.
Items called out during the meeting included a personal-service agreement with Tenfold Health to support the county’s North Star project; a contract with Dr. Mike Lankard, DO, to support emergency medical services medical oversight; an amendment for Parks and Recreation to install a water line near Marble Mound at Presentine Park with archaeological monitoring; a personal-service agreement with Recovery Cafe of Skagit County; work with the Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group on habitat/shoreline projects; and a vendor service agreement with Sunshine Tree Care for removal of large hazardous trees.
Commissioners praised specific community and nonprofit partners mentioned on the consent agenda. The motion to approve items 1–32, "including all items requiring ratification, vouchers, and awards for Monday, February 3, 2025," passed without recorded opposition.
The board adjourned the session and scheduled a return at 11:30 a.m. for the public comment period and individual success stories.
