The Town of Charlton Finance Committee unanimously approved the minutes of Aug. 21 and Sept. 18 and later voted to adjourn its meeting, the committee recorded.

At the start of the meeting a member moved to approve the Aug. 21 and Sept. 18 minutes; the motion was seconded and the committee recorded the vote as unanimous. Near the meeting’s close a motion to adjourn was made, seconded and carried unanimously.

Committee members also confirmed the near-term budget calendar during the same meeting: Jan. 15 (police department presentation), Feb. 12 (joint meeting with Dudley-Charlton Regional School District), Feb. 26 (Finance Committee budget hearings) and March 12 (final budget hearing). No other formal votes were taken during the meeting; staff and committee members discussed Old Home Day funding, ClearGov changes and the fire-substation project as matters for follow-up in the budget cycle.
