Bryan ISD board approves $50,000 donation to CTE, adopts district calendars, updates policies and names new Jane Long principal

Board policy updates: The board approved a batch of policy edits organized as part of a periodic review with the Texas Association of School Boards. Changes included clerical updates to position titles, relocation of district-of-innovation references to the legal section, the addition of guidance on use of artificial intelligence in curriculum policy language, and a change requiring a physician’s order or prescription for both prescription and over‑the‑counter medications administered at school (district staff said nurses had already been implementing the practice).
