Emery County Public Lands Council installs chair by acclamation at January meeting

At its Jan. 8 meeting the Emery County Public Lands Council installed its chair by acclamation and confirmed the vice chair position.
Council members nominated one of the sitting members for chair and, after a motion to suspend the rules, accepted the installation by acclamation. Members also said the council will approve December and January meeting minutes at the February meeting because minutes were not available for review.
The installation was recorded with no formal roll-call vote at the meeting. Members were asked to ensure they review the December minutes before the February meeting.
