Council approves election agreements, ballistic-plate purchase and consent agenda items

The motion was made by Councilman Hader and supported by Councilman Felder; roll-call voting was recorded as unanimous in favor.
Consent agenda: The council accepted and placed on file the items on the consent agenda and adopted the listed resolutions and vendor payments; Councilman Felder moved the motion, supported by Councilwoman Jermaine, and the roll call was unanimous.
Closed session: The council voted to enter a closed session to discuss collective bargaining, attorney-client privileged communications and litigation updates involving several named matters (Oak Forest Townhouses 172 LLC, sewer-backup litigation, Jim’s Towing, and Wood). The motion to enter closed session was made by Councilwoman Jermaine and was supported on the floor; the clerk called the roll and members voted in favor. No substantive actions from the closed session were reported on the public record.
Adjournment: The special meeting and subsequent open meeting were closed by unanimous voice and roll-call votes recorded at the end of the session.
