The consent agenda included personal-service and vendor agreements highlighted by commissioners during the meeting: a personal-service agreement with Tenfold Health to support the county’s Northstar work; a personal-service agreement with Dr. Mike Lankard (DO) to provide medical oversight for Emergency Medical Services; a contract for a water line installation near Presentine Park and archaeological monitoring by the Parks and Recreation department near Marblemount; a personal-service agreement with Recovery Cafe of Skagit County; agreements with the Skagit Fisheries Enhancement Group for habitat and restoration assistance; and a vendor service agreement with Sunshine Tree Care for removal of large trees the county’s crews cannot safely handle.
Commissioners praised the programs during general remarks: one commissioner said Tenfold Health’s Northstar work helps reduce costs related to homelessness and substance and mental-health issues; another thanked physicians who support EMS. The board’s motion to approve the entire consent agenda passed with “aye” from those present and no recorded opposition in the meeting audio. The meeting record as heard on the Feb. 3 audio did not include a roll-call vote count.
The board announced it would reconvene later the same day for the public comment period and return business; no separate roll call or recorded vetoes were announced for the consent items during the session.
