The Overland Park City Council on Feb. 3 approved the Planning Commission’s recommendation to approve revised preliminary plan PDP2024-00042 for the Oslo Marketplace at 130th Street and Antioch Road, voting to accept stipulations a through r, including a requested deviation for drive‑thru separation.
Leslie Carr of the city Planning Department told the council the staff did not recommend approval, citing concerns about pedestrian connectivity, the increase in the number of pad sites (from 4 to 6), and a requested deviation from a Unified Development Ordinance requirement that pickup windows be at least 200 feet from residentially zoned property.
