Council approves consent agenda, tables liaison appointments; ABC license renewed

The Trenton City Council completed a series of procedural and policy votes at its Jan. 28 conference and regular meeting.
ABC license: At a preliminary ABC board session before the council meeting, members approved Resolution 25-001 renewing the plenary retail consumption license for "9099009 Lounge, LLC" for the 2024–2025 licensing period. A motion to approve was made and seconded; roll-call voting recorded “Yes” votes from Councilwoman Edwards, Councilwoman Feliciano, Councilwoman Figueroa Kettenberg, Councilwoman Frisbie, Councilwoman Williams and Council President Gonzales. The motion carried.
Consent agenda and appointments: The council voted to approve a consent agenda of resolutions presented at the meeting. During docket review the council agreed to table Resolution 25-027 (appointments of council member liaisons to boards and commissions) to the next public meeting so members could review assignment details.
