It also approved a proposed local law limiting parking in Bellmore, Franklin Square and West Hempstead; standing and parking prohibitions in Uniondale; new arterial stop controls in Franklin Square, Levittown, Lido Beach, Merrick, Seaford and Uniondale; traffic regulations in the vicinity of Uniondale schools; and handicap parking designations on public streets in Baldwin, Bellmore, East Meadow, Elmont, Franklin Square, Uniondale and near Valley Stream.
The board voted to close the public hearing and consider a proposed fee schedule for waterway structures and approved an increase in improvement assessments for the Woodmere‑Hewlett parking district. All roll‑call votes recorded at the meeting were unanimous "aye," according to the clerk's record.
Separately, the board adopted the administrative calendar (items 10–43) by roll call and then adjourned the formal meeting.
