The planning commission approved a graphics plan for wayfinding signs at a proposed credit union on a 1.48-acre site at or near 1600 Clark Parkway, planning staff said.
Staff told the commission the proposed ground signs are intended for identification and wayfinding and are not advertising. Planning staff recommended approval, finding the proposed signage scale compatible with the building. The applicant, Sean McCann of Added Image Solutions, told the commission the signs are standard wayfinding elements intended to improve traffic flow across the site and are not illuminated.
Staff reported no traffic management concerns and noted the Columbus Community School parcel nearby; the Columbus-area community review body recommended approval. After limited discussion, the commission voted to approve the applicant’s graphics plan for the ground/wayfinding signs (recorded as case TC24-0380).
