Torrance City public works assistant engineer introduces environmental goals

Miranda Liebig, an assistant engineer with Torrance City Public Works, introduced herself and described her goals in environmental engineering, saying she wants to serve the public by providing clean water and improving water access.

Liebig said she was initially nervous when she applied for the position but found Torrance City responsive to residents' needs and supportive to new staff. “Everyone's been super supportive and kind,” she said, and added that her motivation and willingness to learn would help determine whether the role was a good fit.
