Valley County commissioners approved Parks and Recreation reporting forms and retention requests on Dec. 16 and the county clerk reported that year-end financial filings are complete.
Doug (county staff) and recreation staff reviewed the county vessel form, snowmobile fund form and a request for retention of county vessel funds. Staff warned that a $14,000 reimbursement from the City of McCall and a $75,100 reimbursement from Adams County had not yet been received and that those amounts would be added to the reports once checks are processed.
"Once we receive that funding, we will amend the report and present that to IDPR," staff said, referring to the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation. Commissioners moved to approve the four forms together; the motion carried by voice vote.
Clerk's office update
The county clerk told commissioners the clerk's office completed the final year-end reports required by the county, aside from a pending public defense report for which staff are seeking clarification from the state public defense office and the county's former contracted public defender. The clerk noted the county's outside audit is scheduled for February.
No funding actions were taken during the approvals; staff will amend and resubmit forms when outstanding reimbursements arrive.
