Public Works Director Joe San Clemente told the Hermosa Beach City Council on Jan. 28 that several infrastructure projects are in active construction or close to mobilization, and that city engineers are reviewing multiple bids for larger street and park projects.
San Clemente said the Los Angeles County Sanitation District has installed a bypass line on Monterey Avenue to allow lining work on Bayview Drive from Fourth to Tenth Street. He said crews planned to switch the flow to the bypass ahead of lining mobilization and that pavement restoration will follow the sanitation work.
