Dockendorf read the 2025 amounts as follows: county attorney $128,752; county clerk $72,794 (base plus statutory election responsibilities); each commissioner $19,743.93; register of deeds $66,664; sheriff $106,516.80; and treasurer $83,153.98 (base plus statutory motor-vehicle responsibilities).
Commissioners asked a few clarifying questions about how the pay plan and step placement reflected prior experience and positions on the pay matrix. Dockendorf explained that placement within the pay plan reflected each official''s position on the county''s grade/step schedule and in some cases prior experience in relevant roles.
A motion to approve the elected-officials salary schedule for 2025 was made and seconded; the chair called the vote and the motion carried.
