The Teton County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 28 approved a set of consent items including a Wyoming DOT road-safety MOU, a $20,355 pre-construction work order for the Old Library, a three-year Agility Recovery IT membership (~$9,372 per year), a grant with the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office and a six-month budget amendment.
Teton County commissioners approved several staff-recommended consent items and a six-month budget amendment during their Jan. 28 meeting.
Road-safety memorandum of understanding The board approved a memorandum of understanding with the Wyoming Department of Transportation to participate in the Wyoming Rural Road Safety Program, authorizing replacement road-safety signs on county roads. David Gustafson of Teton County Road and Levee told the board these signs are replacement signs for existing county road signs and staff are prepared to answer questions on placement and maintenance. The motion to approve the MOU passed unanimously.
Old library pre-construction services The commission approved work order 7.0 for pre-construction services with Wimber Inc. for the Old Library project for a not-to-exceed amount of $20,355, including reimbursables. Sarah Mann, Director of General Services, said Wimber was hired to assist with preconstruction because of the building’s historic-preservation issues and town permitting. Susan Erickson Meyer, administrator for the Teton County Historic Preservation Board, spoke in support and encouraged use of local preservation expertise. The motion carried unanimously.
Agility Recovery IT membership The board approved a three-year membership agreement with Agility Recovery for disaster recovery equipment and services to support enterprise IT operations. Enterprise IT manager Alisa Dunn described the service as “like an insurance policy,” explaining the membership fee would be about $9,000 a year and would guarantee delivery of a self-contained recovery unit (power, shelter, IT equipment) if a disaster disabled county facilities. The motion passed unanimously.
Historic Preservation grant agreement The commission approved the Teton County Historic Preservation Board’s grant agreement with the Wyoming State Historic Preservation Office to prepare a “moved buildings” context document. Susan Erickson Meyer described the work as documenting how building relocation in the county can be compatible with National Register eligibility and potential tax incentives. The motion carried unanimously.
Six-month budget amendment Teton County Clerk Maureen Murphy presented the fiscal year six-month budget amendment; commissioners approved the amendment unanimously. The amendment reorganizes budget lines (including a separation of helicopter and transportation budgets into distinct line items), incorporates previously approved adjustments, and cleans up fiscal-year 2025 inputs.
Other consent items The board also placed additional items on the consent agenda earlier in the meeting (sole-source mental-health contract, coroner feasibility study contract, fair contract with Montana Premier, rental-agreement amendment for Snow King radio site, Justice Center relocation planning contract, and a historic preservation board agreement for a conference) and approved them as part of the consent calendar.
All consent items were approved by roll-call voice vote with no recorded dissent.
