Moody said Public Works Engineering planned to seek authorization to award a bid for a deep sewer main that would facilitate the Newcomb Ranch development and provide west-side capacity. He said the award was scheduled at an upcoming council meeting and that construction was anticipated to begin in spring. "There's a big sewer main that will facilitate Newcomb Ranch, and then it also provides capacity to the west," Moody said.
