Royal Gorge Promenators ask Fremont County to recognize square dancing as county dance

He described square dancing as a social and physical activity he believes benefits participants' mental and physical health and said the group is small and seeking new members.
Commissioners accepted the flyers and indicated they would discuss whether the county should mimic the state designation (the state previously designated square dancing as the state dance) and said staff would place materials in a public area for display.
