Legislative subcommittee: staff recommended forming the legislative subcommittee composed of the current chair, the current vice chair and the most recent past chair, with alternates identified from the governing board. Chris Hawley of TMRPA staff presented the proposal and explained the practice is intended to provide jurisdictional coverage during the 120-day Nevada legislative session. Member Doer moved to approve the subcommittee formation; Member Vanderwell seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
Routine approvals: the board approved the meeting agenda and approved the minutes from the Dec. 12, 2024 meeting; both motions carried unanimously.
