The Greencastle-Antrim School District announced at its Feb. 20 board meeting that the district advisory council will meet at 6 p.m. March 4 in the high school library to review a draft comprehensive plan that lays out four goals and strategies the district intends to pursue through 2028.
District staff said the March 4 advisory meeting will solicit feedback on the draft and on federal Title I–IV program priorities so the district can finalize budget priorities before submitting its plan by the March 31 deadline. The board scheduled the comprehensive-plan vote for its March 20 meeting and said the March 4 session is open to the public and the advisory council.
Staff described the plan as including interim goals and implementation strategies that will guide building-level work through 2028; they encouraged board members and community members to attend the advisory meeting and provide feedback ahead of the March 20 vote.
