Appointments recorded in the meeting included the EWCTC joint operating committee (Mr. Reed as chair, with Mr. Campbell and Mr. Lynch), Westmoreland Intermediate Unit representation (Mr. Scholl), building and grounds (Mr. Krenoch, Mr. Reed, Mr. Lynch; Mr. Lynch named chair), and finance (Mr. Liberoni as chair). The board amended the agenda to add a new “4 A's” committee, and then approved membership and chairs for the newly added committee.
The reorganization followed a brief executive-session recap earlier in the meeting that the board said involved privileged student issues, personnel matters and ongoing contract negotiations. Several committee reports and chair assignments were also finalized and approved by voice vote during the meeting.
