The Grayson County Fiscal Court approved the first reading of the third amendment to the county’s Alcohol Beverage Control Ordinance to incorporate the November election results for the Falls of Rough district.
Aaron, a county staff member, described the change: "This amendment simply integrates the results of the November, which allows the sale of the alcohol at distilleries and falls of rough and alcohol by the drink at private clubs and falls of rough." The amendment reflects local voters’ action in November, Aaron said.
Darren moved to accept the amendment on first reading; Brenda seconded. The court voted in favor; no opposition was recorded in the meeting minutes. The amendment will proceed to a later reading for final adoption.
