Griggs County Commission keeps biweekly meetings Monday mornings; approves bills and furniture purchase

In related business the commission approved the bills as presented and accepted an amendment that allows the auditor to use an existing deputy salary line surplus to purchase a 14-foot conference-style table and two office furniture pieces (total cost $2,950) for the courthouse meeting room and auditor’s office. The purchase was presented as within the current departmental budget and was approved in the bills vote.
The commission also confirmed it will post the revised employee manual to the county’s website after final edits and noted the website’s new design is live.
Vote: the motion to maintain the biweekly Monday 9:30 a.m. schedule passed by voice vote. The bills, including the auditor’s amended purchase, were approved by voice vote.
Ending: staff will adjust agenda distribution timing to Thursday (when possible) and make the approved purchases from the auditor’s budget; the commission will revisit the schedule if needed.
