TDC elects chair and vice chair, approves minutes and notes vacancy

Daniel Leakey was nominated and elected vice chair by voice vote.
On minutes, the board approved the May 14, 2024 minutes and later revisited the Oct. 22, 2024 minutes. A motion to amend the Oct. 22 minutes to record that Noah Dyker, staff attorney, was in attendance passed by voice vote.
The board announced one vacancy on the TDC that requires an appointee with a tourism affiliation; staff said applications will be forwarded to the BOCC for appointment. The council set its next meeting date as May 13 at 8:30 a.m. (the board meets quarterly).
