Two Queen Anne's County High masonry students receive national Mortar Net Solutions scholarships

The awards include tools and equipment Blaxton said students can use in the classroom and in future work. A student in the class said the scholarship tools could help with starting a business in the future.
Blaxton said both students have been in his class for two years and are among his hardest-working pupils. He also said the class will travel to Parkside High School in Salisbury in February for SkillsUSA competition; winners at that level advance to the state competition.
Students who received the scholarship expressed gratitude for Blaxton's instruction and for the opportunities the award provides. Details on the dollar value of the scholarship and the specific tools provided were not specified during the remarks.
