Boise Historic Preservation Commission approves two certificates of appropriateness, moves two items to Feb. 24 hearing

The Boise City Historic Preservation Commission approved two certificates of appropriateness for North End properties and deferred two other applications to the commission's Feb. 24 hearing during a work session and public hearing.

During the meeting the commission approved DRH24-00437 (1309 North 20th Street) and DRH24-00442 (1307 North 10th Street), finding both projects compatible in scale and materials with their neighborhoods after staff presentations and testimony from applicants and the registered neighborhood association. The commission placed DRH24-00423 (1302 North 12th Street) onto the consent agenda after the applicant agreed to the staff report and no members of the public registered opposition. Two items (DRH24-00342 at 917 East Jefferson Street and DRH24-00263 at 718 West Ada Street) were deferred at the applicant's request to allow redesign and further neighborhood coordination.
