Commission renames and updates senior advisory committee ordinance
Summary

The commission amended City Code Chapter 2 to rename and update the senior advisory committee’s membership and governance provisions on Feb. 26.
The change updates the committee’s title, clarifies duties and membership qualifications and moves the existing balloon-landing language to a new section. No members of the public spoke for or against the ordinance. The motion to adopt was made by Commissioner Wright and seconded by Commissioner Patterson; the measure passed 5–0.
City Clerk Kimberly Dillon will incorporate the code changes into the city’s codified ordinance and staff will notify committee members and the public of any procedural changes.
