Eulaura Babini, vice chair of the Mendocino County Planning Commission, announced that the commission did not have a quorum for its scheduled meeting and adjourned the session to Feb. 20, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at 05:01 Logab Road in Ukiah.
"There is no quorum today of the commission present for the meeting that was scheduled to begin at 10AM this morning. As such, pursuant to Government Code section 54955, I'm adjourning this meeting of the planning commission to 02/20/2025 at 10AM in the Board of Supervisors Chambers at 05:01 Logab Road in Ukiah," Babini said.
Babini said all items that were on the agenda for the adjourned meeting will be heard at the Feb. 20, 2025, planning commission meeting. No motions or votes were taken at the adjourned session.
Before the adjournment, two members of the public offered brief testimony about family support services. One public commenter said she values that her child is "healthy" and "happy." Another called her daughter "the greatest thing in my life" and thanked program staff for timely assistance and support. Those remarks were part of public comment and did not result in action by the commission.
The adjournment was made under the authority cited on the record as Government Code section 54955; the vice chair provided the new date, time and location for the rescheduled meeting so that agenda items will be heard at that session.
Anyone with matters on the original agenda should expect those items to be considered at the Feb. 20, 2025, meeting in Ukiah.
