The Monroe-Woodbury Central School District Board of Education approved a set of routine agenda and governance items during its Feb. 5 meeting at Pine Tree Elementary.
The board voted by voice to approve the revised agenda. The board also approved minutes from the Jan. 8 and Jan. 22 meetings by voice vote.
During the meeting the board took a first reading of a policy manual update and voted to move forward; the action carried on a voice vote. Personnel actions listed on the evening’s agenda were approved by voice vote after a motion from the floor. Business and financial items numbered 12.1 through 12.6 were likewise approved by voice vote.
The board approved recommendations from the Committees on Special Education (CSE) and Preschool Special Education (CPSE) by motion and voice vote.
At the end of the public meeting the board voted to go into executive session for personnel matters.
None of the motions recorded in the meeting transcript included a roll-call vote or an individual named vote tally; the record shows voice votes with members responding "Aye" and the presiding officer announcing motions carried.
