St. John recreation programs expanding but DSPR flags staffing and lifeguard shortages

“Employees shortage threatens our ability to serve the community to our full potential,” Hill said during the Feb. 21 St. John hearing. Senators repeatedly pressed the department on head count and pay as the committee reviewed program needs.
