Wake County board approves consent agenda, moves to closed session

The Wake County Board of Education took routine procedural actions at its Jan. 21 meeting, adopting the meeting agenda, approving the consent agenda and voting to return to closed session.

The meeting opened with a motion to adopt the agenda. "We have a motion from Vice Chair Swanson and a second from Miss Mahaffey," the chair said, and the agenda was approved on a voice vote.
