Jack (identified in the meeting as a presenter from the auditor's office) thanked the clerk's office staff by name and told commissioners the audit work was cooperative and transparent. "I just want to thank the clerk's office, Kathy and Jeff and all their team down there for being so cooperative and transparent. I can report that everything's running very... smoothly in our office," Jack said in the public meeting.
The commission also approved entering the treasurer's report into the official record. Staff noted the destruction list would be entered into the record as well because the records had met retention schedules.
At the end of the public portion of the meeting, commissioners voted to go into executive session under the citation read on the record as "RSMO 610.02 1.13 personnel records." A motion to enter executive session was made and seconded; the commission recorded a vote that was read as affirmative by commissioners present. The meeting reconvened afterward for adjournment.
