Council and the vendor agreed on a date the representative referred to in the meeting as the "20 eighth" for delivery scheduling.
White Sanitation warned that the regional landfill is enforcing stricter rules and that items placed in city-provided dumpsters that cause disposal fees (for example, tires or appliances) will be billed to the city. The representative said last year's tire disposal cost the city about $800. Councilors discussed signage and possible trail-camera deterrents to discourage dumping prohibited items into cleanup dumpsters.
