District announces Ford-funded fab lab at Brighton High, fifth-grade CTE visits planned

Ford Motor Company is donating startup equipment and consumable materials for the 2025–26 school year, Dr. Berg said, and Brighton High administrators and two teachers will visit an existing site in Chattanooga for planning.
As part of the district’s strategic plan and CTE outreach, Dr. Berg said all fifth-grade students will visit one of the district high schools in February to learn about CTE pathways earlier than in prior years. The district also plans to highlight CTE students on its Endless Possibilities podcast and to post photos and updates in the board newsletter.
