Platte County approves $1.67 million in trail contracts for Prairie Creek Greenway and Running Horse Road

Platte County commissioners voted 3-0 on Oct. 6 to award two contracts for trail work: a $960,883.40 contract to Superior Bowen Asphalt Company LLC to resurface the Prairie Creek Greenway, and a $712,420 contract to Julius Gas Construction Company Inc. to construct the Running Horse Road/sidewalk connection.
The projects were presented by Daniel Erickson, Platte County parks and recreation director.
