He said he had submitted a written letter to the commissioners seeking that outcome and asked staff to follow up; commissioners said they had his letter and would pass it to staff for follow-up.
Commissioners did not vote on the request during the meeting. County staff indicated they had the letter on file and said they would follow up with Houston to discuss options and next steps.
