The revised project estimate is $3,400,000; the original grant amount was $1,770,000 with a 13% local match for a total project budget described in the transcript as about $2,000,000. Commissioners and staff told Pendleton they should return in November with design documentation and verification of additional match funding from the Delta Regional Authority, whose next meeting was scheduled for Nov. 9. "It would be my recommendation that we continue this to the November meeting so that they can obtain, either obtain or not obtain evidence that they can secure the additional match funds," Senator Reese said.
Pendleton did not appear at the meeting; staff said the applicant expected not to be able to produce match verification before November. Commissioners approved the continuance by voice vote and noted the month-long deferral would be a "hard stop" — if the additional match is not secured at that time, the grant could be lost.
Staff will return the item in November with any updated documentation from Pendleton or Delta Regional Authority.
