City planning staff told the Arlington City Planning Commission that the commission’s November meeting will include a return of the revised critical areas ordinance and amendments to the park master plan that change financial sections and the park impact fee.
"Your November meeting is gonna be pretty full. So we're gonna have the critical areas ordinance is gonna come back because we changed it," Amy, a city planning staff member, said. She said staff will bring the portions of the park master plan that have changed rather than reprinting the full plan and that the amendments will affect three chapters and "2, 3 appendices".
Amy also said the city will bring changes to chapter 20.90, described in the meeting as the concurrency and impact-fee chapter, to implement the park impact-fee adjustments. She asked commissioners to consider whether to cancel the December workshop and keep the regular December meeting so the commission can approve meeting minutes and that staff could host a small post-meeting gathering.
No formal action or vote was taken on these updates during the meeting; staff presented them as upcoming agenda items. Commissioners did not request additional public hearings beyond the normal notice procedures described by staff.
