Fox Canyon GMA adopts 2025 meeting calendar; board members note scheduling conflicts

The Fox Canyon Groundwater Management Agency board on Dec. 13 approved its 2025 calendar of regular, special and committee meetings. Regular board meetings will be held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at 12:30 p.m., with no November meeting and the December meeting moved to Dec. 10. Special meetings were scheduled for the second Wednesday of the month at 12:30 p.m. Committee meetings will be more frequent: an executive committee meeting every other month (first Thursdays, 1:30 p.m., with exceptions) and monthly operations and more frequent fiscal committee meetings to support upcoming work.
Board members noted scheduling conflicts with conferences (California Water Agencies Conference and League of Cities) and asked staff to consider morning times for fiscal‑committee meetings where possible. The board approved the calendar by roll call: Chair West — yes; Director Long — yes; Director Tremblay — yes; Director Kaviota — yes. Outcome: approved.
The board said the calendar is subject to change during the year and asked staff to add project and evaluation milestones to future committee agendas so the board can manage workload leading into the next five‑year evaluation cycle.
