Mendocino County continues coastal permit hearing for CDP2024‑0004 to March 13 for recirculation

Staff planner Liam Crowley asked that coastal development permit CDP2024‑0004 be continued to the March 13 Coastal Permit Administrator meeting to allow a revised mitigated negative declaration (MND) and related materials to be recirculated for agency and public review. Crowley said he met with staff from the California Department of Fish and Wildlife, the Regional Water Board and the California Coastal Commission after the item was publicly noticed and that, because the applicant submitted additional information and removed several elements from the scope of work, the MND needed revision and recirculation.
"Due to those additional information and the revisions, the mitigated negative declaration had to be revised and has to be circulated for additional review," Liam Crowley said. Crowley told the administrator he had discussed the March 13 date with the owner and applicant and that they agreed to the continuance. The coastal permit administrator continued the item to the March 13 meeting at 11 a.m.
No public comment was recorded on the continuance at the hearing.
