The Yamhill County Board of Commissioners opened a public hearing on docket L2124 (a lot-line adjustment) on Jan. 9, 2025 and then continued the matter to Feb. 6, 2025 after the applicant and the appellant agreed to a continuance.
Tiffany (planning staff) explained that both the applicant and appellant had agreed to continue the matter to Feb. 6. Public commenters who spoke in support of the continuance included Jim McMaster (Chehalem Park & Recreation District board member) and Brandon Slider, the appellant on docket L2124. Daniel Denichic, representing property owner Casey Bernard, also addressed the board and supported the continuance while the parties work toward a solution.
County staff advised that opening the hearing before continuing would avoid the need to re-notice the matter; commissioners then left the hearing open and voted to continue the docket to 10 a.m. Feb. 6, 2025 in Room 32 of the courthouse.
The record shows the board accepted the joint request and set the continued hearing date; staff and parties will work on outstanding issues and return with any updates on Feb. 6.
