The Daggett County Municipal Building Authority met Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025, at 9:10 a.m. and unanimously approved minutes from the Jan. 28, 2025 meeting, accepted the cash summary and aging report, and voted to table consideration of the master resolution for Series 2025 bonds (Series 2025-01 and Series 2025-02) until required paperwork is corrected.
The authority approved the Jan. 28 minutes after a motion to approve was made and seconded; the motion passed unanimously. The board then accepted the cash summary and the aging report. Members noted the authority’s fund number (37 405) is still awaiting reimbursement and that the aging report items under discussion currently related to water and sewer, not the municipal building authority fund.
Members discussed progress on a proposed new clinic. A staff speaker said the clinic work is progressing, with remaining meetings to finish loose ends, that staff will meet with project contacts and expects to submit a building permit application in two to three weeks, and that the project could be put out to bid in March. Authority members also discussed right-of-way work: staff said legal descriptions had been provided and that attorneys were preparing documents to complete the right-of-way process.
On the policy and legislation item, staff reported that a packet for the master resolution for Series 2025 bonds was incomplete and required corrections. Staff said they expect the packet to be ready by Feb. 11 and that a public hearing on the bonds is scheduled for March 11. Because required documents remain outstanding and to meet posting time frames, a board member moved to table discussion and consideration of the master resolution for Series 2025 bonds A and B; the motion was seconded and approved unanimously.
The authority had no MBA purchase requests or correspondence specific to the municipal building authority at the meeting. A board member said the water treatment plant had agenda items that would be addressed elsewhere and the meeting adjourned at 9:16 a.m.
